Praha / Prague CZ

Prague

The main sightseeing areas of Prague are separated by the Vltava River. On the left bank there is the Prague Castle area and Lesser Town. The right bank is home to the Old Town, the Jewish Quarter, and the New Town. Spanning the Vltava River and connecting the Old Town and Lesser Town is the beautiful Charles Bridge.

The story of Charles Bridge (Karlův most)

Picture the scene:
Plan of Action - meet up with Selma and family at Charles Bridge
in Prague. Neither family has been to Prague,
but we guessing that the Bridge should be a great
meeting point. We arrange a time and each plan our road
travel from both Hungary and Poland respectively.

Our road trip has the challenges of road works and border delays
We keep in contact with sms - we expect to be at the
rendezvous at least 2 hours later than planned.
We drive and park along the Danube, near one of the bridges
to ask for directions.
A car parks right behind us with the same intention.
I ask German tourists and they point to Charles Bridge.
My son shouts "hi" and calls me - he recognized the people
in the car behind us - Selma and family.
Now that is amazing!
